Nathan Elliott Talking Longhorns

Quarterback Nathan Elliott is a North Carolina verbal commitment but is keeping his options open. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound signal caller checks in from Celina (TX) and is a three star prospect.

Quarterback Nathan Elliott has offers from North Carolina, Arkansas State and Army. He decided to announce his intentions to play for head coach Larry Fedora and the North Carolina Tar Heels. Elliott has visited Texas and communicates with offensive coordinator Shaun Watson.

"It's going very well," Nathan Elliott said. "The best part has been being able to get closer through this process. We have communicated quite a bit in person when I am in Austin. Nobody has visited yet but I know a lot will in the next couple of weeks."

Elliott has admired Texas from a far and will get a chance to throw for Shaun Watson soon.

"Love them," Elliott said. "I love the discipline and character they are making the players show."
