Christian Wallace on the Process

Four-star safety Christian Wallace checks in from Sealy (TX) at 6-foot-2, 195-pounds and is starting to get noticed.

Christian Wallace has one offer from the University of Houston but is starting to draw attention. Wallace is a 6-foot-2, 195-pound safety prospect and has garnered four-stars from Scout.com.

"It's pretty fun to get all that attention but at the same time it's hard not to get a big head," Christian Wallace said.

Wallace started on both sides of the ball last season at cornerback and running back, scoring five touchdowns to go a long with his three interceptions. The appeal of staying close to home and attending Texas has crossed his mind.

"I think Texas is a great school to go to and be close to my family," Wallace said. "Also, coach [Charlie] Strong would be a great influence on my life if I played for him."

Wallace has a lot of upside on both sides of the ball but mostly is being looked at from a defensive point of view.

"My strengths are my speed and I know how to read wide receivers routes when they come off the ball," Wallace said.
