As for the Longhorns, four-star wide receiver Collin Johnson (San Jose, Calif./Valley Christian), UT's only commitment in this class, checks in as the No. 8 WR in the country and the No. 45 player overall.
Texas has offered four of the top 20 prospects overall in OT Greg Little (No. 2 overall from Allen, Texas), DT Kendell Jones (No. 3 overall from Killeen, Texas/Shoemaker), DT Ed Oliver (Houston/Westfield), and WR Devin Duvernay (No. 20 overall from Sachse, Texas).
The Longhorns have had each of those recruits on campus already and Oliver will be in Austin on Thursday along with teammate, and 2015 UT commitment, Toby Weatherbsy.
other Scout 300 recruits with Texas offers includes TE Kaden Smith (No. 31 overall), S Deontay Anderson (No. 37 overall), CB Jared Mayden (No. 41 overall), former commitment WR Reggie Hemphill (No. 47 overall), WR Mykel Jones (No. 75 overall), and S Christian Wallace (No. 128 overall).
