Wallace A Wanted Man

Recruiting decisions often come down to the relationship between the recruit and the coaching staff. Another huge factor for high school football prospects is location. Location might help the Texas coaching staff with four star standout safety Christian Wallace.

Christian Wallace is a four-star safety prospect from Katy (TX) Obra D. Tompkins. The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder was more than impressive when he worked out for the Texas coaching staff. One thing the Texas coaches have in their favor is the proximity between Austin and Katy, two hours.

"The recruiting process is exciting and something I have worked all my life for and for my family it's almost as fun as it is for me," Wallace said.

Wallace is a wanted man and has made several trips so far this summer.

I visited Texas, TCU, Houston and Texas A&M," Wallace said. "I will visit Baylor and LSU and maybe Oregon."

Wallace talks about his game and what factors might be important moving forward.

"The strengths of my game are my size, range and my 4.3 speed," Wallace said. "I am going to work on my footwork to become quicker and also to get fluid in my lateral movement. Being close to my family, getting a great education and also having a good relationship with the coaches."
