Future Longhorn Visits for Home Opener

One of the most underrated running backs in the class of 2015 is Tristian Houston. The future Texas Longhorn checks in at 5-foot-10, 205-pounds. Houston visited as Texas hosted North Texas with teammate offensive linemen Tyler Moore.

Tristian Houston has been one of the most talked about players across recruiting message boards over the last several weeks. Texas, Alabama, LSU, Arkansas, Mississippi State and Maryland have all offered. Houston is currently committed to Texas. He was able to visit this past weekend and checkout his future teammates with his current teammate, Tyler Moore.

"Texas was amazing," Houston said. "It was crowded with fans and they show the team a lot of love. The team looked good, but there are some improvements that need to be made."

Houston had a great time in Austin, spending time with coaches, players and Moore.

"Once I arrived I ate a lot of food," Houston said. "I talked to coach [Vance] Bedford; coach [Tommie] Robinson and coach [Chris] Vaughn. All of them were telling me to get ready to come run the ball for them."

Houston said sitting in the stands it made him want to play. He feels Moore enjoyed the trip as well. Moore is being looked at by offensive line coach Joe Wickline to play the center position.
