Sewo Olonilua Another Name for Texas Fans

Kingwood (TX) running back Sewo Olonilua had a chance to take in the Texas home opener as they hosted North Texas. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound back has yet to receive his first offer, but plenty of teams are showing interest including the Longhorns.

Sewo Olonilua is a three-star running back from Kingwood High School. He has yet to receive his first official offer, but Texas, Texas A&M and Nebraska are showing lots of love. Olonilua was impressed with the impact Strong has made on this program.

"The fans were great," Olonilua said. "They were always able to get the stadium loud and you can tell coach [Charlie] Strong has already made a change. We got there and ate dinner. I did get a chance to talk to the coaches; they were excited to see us there. I spoke with coach [Chris] Vaughn, and he told me to keep in touch with him. I think my favorite part was the hype from the crowd."

Olonilua is a big, fast and physical back. He is coming off a sophomore season with 130 carries for 820 yards and ten touchdowns, averaging 6.3 yards per carry in a total of nine games. He has very quick feet and gets up field in a hurry. Olonilua has great breaks in and out of the hole and does a great job of reading his blocks. I am very impressed with his ability to make people miss in the open field.

Olonilua made the trip to Austin with both of his parents.
