Bryan Henderson Back from Texas Visit

Bryan Henderson is a 5-foot-11, 200-pound safety checking in from Mesquite (TX) Henderson and his family attended the Under the Lights camp back in July and returned to watch the Longhorns in action as they hosted BYU last Saturday evening.

Bryan Henderson is a safety prospect for the class of 2016. The junior safety has great awareness and football IQ. He has been sidelined with a foot injury most of the summer keeping him out of camps and seven on seven tournaments. This past weekend the Henderson family was able to make an unofficial visit to watch as Texas hosted BYU.

"I got to talk to coach [Chris] Vaughn but not for long," Henderson said. "The best overall part of the trip was being on the field for the pre-game and the atmosphere of the game itself."

Henderson is preparing for his next game and is not sure about his next visit, but you can expect to see him back in Austin later this season.

"My next game is against Duncanville, and I don't have another visit planned right now," Henderson said.

"The strength of my game is tackling and coverage ability," Henderson said. "Something I want to continue to work on is my conditioning. Being injured for most of the summer put me behind."
