Logan Bonner Back in Austin

Quarterback Logan Bonner will be back in Austin this weekend as Texas will host Baylor on Saturday. Bonner checks in at 6-foot-2, 190-pounds from Rowlett (TX) and has an interest from Oklahoma State, Texas, Houston, Baylor, UCLA, BYU and California.

Logan Bonner is one of the top quarterbacks in the state of Texas for 2016. Bonner and Rowlett are off to a fast start.

"Our record is 4-1 and 2-0 in district, and we play Garland this Friday," Bonner said. "I have been playing well. We need to work on just executing our assignments. We are young at the receiver position, but we are getting better."

Bonner is hearing from some big time programs, and it will only increase as the season progresses.

"The top three schools showing the most love are Oklahoma State, Texas and Houston," Bonner said. "Also Baylor UCLA, BYU and California. I visited Baylor for their first home game and the next week I visited Oklahoma State. I plan to visit Texas this weekend when they play Baylor."

Bonner believes the Texas staff is on the right track.

"I think the coaching staff is trying their best," Bonner said. "I think they are in a good position to be successful this season and they are going to get good recruits off of the games they win. I think coach Strong is setting the ground rules of a future national championship program."
