Jeffrey McCulloch Lands Texas Offer

Jeffrey McCulloch is a 6-foot-2, 225-pound outside linebacker from Houston (TX) Davis High School in the class of 2016. They are off to a 1-4 start, but McCulloch has played well early in the season.

Jeffrey McCulloch has interest from numerous schools including Texas, Northwestern, Oregon, Oklahoma, Duke, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Arkansas and Baylor.

"Our record is 1-4, and we play Aldine High School next," McCulloch said. "I believe I've played well but not well enough for the team to win. I have used my hands well to shed blockers and need work on man coverage a little more. Schools showing the most love would have to be Texas, Northwestern, Oregon Oklahoma, Duke, Mississippi state, Texas A&M, Arkansas and Baylor."

McCulloch visited Texas this weekend, Oklahoma next weekend, Texas A&M later in the year and Baylor vs. Kansas State.

"I believe coach Strong has given Texas football the correct image needed to win," McCulloch said. "If you don't buy into his system you'll have to leave."

McCulloch received some good news on his visit to Austin, a Texas Longhorn offer.

”Amazing, my mother and father are extremely proud,” McCulloch said. “I was extremely humbled the coaching staff chose to offer me. The defense played well today and the crowd was unrivaled to any of the ones I’ve ever seen or been apart of. I had a blast.”
