Andrew Fitzgerald Planning Trips

One of the top ranked defensive end prospects in the class of 2016 is setting up visits. The four-star defensive end standout checks in from Flower Mound (TX) Marcus High School.

Andrew Fitzgerald is the No 15 ranked defensive end prospect in the class of 2016. He is 6-foot-5, 240-pounds and has offers from Texas, Purdue, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and TCU.

"We are 3 and 2 and play Flower Mound," Fitzgerald said. "I think I've played pretty good overall maintaining my gap and pass rush. Things I need to work on is not getting too far up field."

Fitzgerald has visited for two games this season but is looking for more trips to take.

"I went down to a game at TCU and also Texas, "Fitzgerald said. "I am planning on going down to Oklahoma, Arkansas and Oklahoma State."

Fitzgerald has kept a close eye on head coach Charlie Strong and the Longhorn program.

"Texas is a great program and from all the coaches I've meet they have all been great guys," Fitzgerald said. "Coach Strong has a good control of his team, and I feel like he is doing the right thing to put Texas in the way it needs to be going."
