Jeremy Smith Making a Name for himself

Head coach Charlie Strong and the Texas Longhorns welcome in the Baylor Bears this weekend. With the big game comes big visitors and Jeremy Smith is no exception.

Jeremy Smith checks in at 6-foot-3, 180-pounds from Missouri City (TX) Marshall High School. The three-star standout is visiting Texas this weekend with his mom and dad.

"I start at quarterback and play wide receiver," Smith said. "I've been playing very well. Things I have done well is putting my team in great positions to score. Things I need to work on is getting better on working with my wide receivers."

Texas, Michigan State, Arkansas, UCLA, Indiana, Oregon, Duke, Stanford and Yale are just a few teams showing Smith interest.

"I was very surprised about how all the schools started sending me mail, but I knew that was going to happen," Smith said. "I think the Texas is very good and I like what coach [Charlie] Strong is doing with the program."
