Aubrey White Talking Texas

Aubrey White does a little bit of everything for his Wylie East teammates. White plays a little running back, wide receiver and linebacker. White is receiving lots of attention from college coaches around the country.

Aubrey White is 6-foot-1, 190-pounds from Wylie (TX) He has an interest from Texas, Oregon, Arizona State and Washington to name a few.

"We are 2-2 so far," White said. "We play Wylie high, our crosstown rival. I have been more explosive and better at attacking the hole gaining more yards. I need to work on blocking better without the ball."

White added an offer from Kansas on Monday and was a bit surprised when they fired the head coach.

"I was surprised when the Kansas coach was fired," White said. "Arkansas, the way they are rushing the ball, their running game is unbelievable. I am planning to visit Arkansas, one of my offers I have and Texas and Texas A&M for now."

White also has an overall fondness for the Texas football program.

"Texas is a great school," White said. "I have been watching Jonathan Gray since high school and the 2015 commit Jordan Stevenson is very good. Getting recruited by Texas is a big achievement and coach [Tommie] Robinson is a great mentor telling me different schemes and helping advance my game while I'm still in high school. I'm also going to the OU vs. Texas game next week."
