Braylon Jones Ready to Work

Braylon Jones is one of the top defensive tackle prospects in the class of 2016. The standout linemen checks in at 6-foot-4, 290-pounds from Tyler (TX) John Tyler High School.

Braylon Jones is the No 20 ranked defensive tackle prospect in the class of 2016. The four-star Jones currently has two offers, one from Air Force and the other from Navy.

"I am 6-foot-4, 290-pounds," Jones said. "I have 46 solo tackles, 15 sacks and two quarterback hurries. This season I've done well with commanding double teams, and controlling the line of scrimmage to stop the run. I feel I can improve my pass rush."

Jones was able to attend as Texas hosted Baylor earlier this season, a tough loss for Charlie Strong and the Longhorns but the defensive showed what they are capable of doing.

"The one game I attended was the Texas vs. Baylor in Austin," Jones said. "I got an invite from Texas, and it was a great experience, I enjoyed the trip. I've gotten game invites from some more colleges. I want to go on some future trips, but I probably won't get to make it to any other games this season. I'll just wait until the junior days start to occur. I'm open to any schools that invite me."

Jones has an interest in Arkansas, Army, Auburn, Houston, Texas, USC, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, TCU, Oklahoma, Mississippi State and Houston to name a few. Recruiting fans should remember the name Braylon Jones.
