KeShawn Somerville Keeping Options Open

Keshawn Somerville was recently committed to the Baylor Bears, but things have changed for the Pflugerville (TX) Hendrickson High School standout.

KeShawn Somerville checks in as the No 17 ranked cornerback prospect in the class of 2016 and No 173 overall regardless of position. The four-star standout is 5-foot-10, 170-pounds.

Somerville has roughly 40 tackles on the year to go along with his one interception and three passes defended.

"I did well transferring from corner to safety because my team needed help at safety, Somerville said. " I haven't been playing corner this season as I would like. Coverage wise and tackling wise I have been doing good."

Somerville had a chance to visit three teams so far this season and is looking for more.

"I have been to TCU, Baylor and Texas State," Somerville said. "I was impressed by all the schools and I would not mind watching more from them. I don't know what other games I will go to but possibly more games for sure I will be at."

Somerville has offers from Missouri, Nebraska, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Purdue and Texas to name a few. He is interested in hearing from teams in the SEC, ACC and Pac 12 conferences a little bit more.
