Texas is off to a great start in 2016 with two four-star wide receivers committed at this time. Both Collin Johnson and Reggie Hemphill announced their intentions to play for the Longhorn Nation. Johnson is the No 10 ranked wide out in 2016 while Hemphill checks in at No 7. Johnson talked about his experience in Austin.
"I went with my whole family and spent most of my time up there with Zach Gentry and his family," Johnson said. "The crowd was crazy. I wanted to dress out and play I was getting so juiced put there when Texas was making plays. Texas is a great team and is only getting better."
Johnson and Johnson are going to be a staple in the Texas offense moving forward. The younger Johnson was able to spend time with the staff after the game.
"I talked to all the coaches after the game," Johnson said. "They were proud of how the players performed."
Texas is in a great position for 2016 with Hemphill and Johnson already on board. Look for the Longhorns to sign four wide receivers in next year's class.
