Sheldrick Redwine Flying Under the Radar

The state of Florida is known for producing some of the top high school football players in the country. Every year college coaches from across America flock to the sunshine state to get a glimpse of the very best players in all of high school football. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound corner is from Miami (Fla) Killian.

Sheldrick Redwine has gone seemingly unnoticed by the majority of recruiting fans over the course of the past season. Who has noticed? Redwine has offers from West Virginia, UCF, Texas, Temple, South Florida, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Kentucky, Arkansas and Marshall to name a few.

"It's been entertaining and not what I expected," Redwine said regarding the recruiting process.

Why are so many teams including Texas interested in Redwine?

"I am long, rangy ballhawk who gives an effort in every phase of the game including special teams, defense and offense," Redwine said.

Which teams are giving Redwine the full court press?

"Texas, Louisville, USF and Arkansas show the most love," Redwine said. "I attended a Minnesota game and just loved the atmosphere. I won't be able to make a (Texas) game but after the season."
