Dontavious Jackson is a 6-foot-2, 237-pound inside linebacker with plenty of offers and more on the way.
"The strengths that I have are my abilities to find the ball and reach quickly," Jackson said. "It's an instinct to me and things I need to work on is just getting as strong as I can."
Jackson ended the season at 9-2 and had a monster year that has college coaches from across the state fighting for his services.
"We finished our season 9-2 with a playoff loss," Jackson said. "My season statistically was great. I recorded 173 tackles solo and assists combined, 27 tackles for loss, five sacks, one interception and four forced fumbles."
"I made a trip to Texas last week," Jackson said. "The experience was great, just being on the field while they were warming up made me smile, and I enjoyed myself. I plan to visit California, Texas Tech, Arizona State, Baylor and TCU very soon. I have to say Tech, California; Arizona State and OSU are showing me the most love and I think Baylor, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and TCU are close."
Jackson is not the only one who feels Baylor, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and TCU are close to offering. He will be one of the most heavily recruited players in the state of Texas heading into the summer and next season.
