Breckyn Hager Ready for Texas

Breckyn Hager is scheduled to make his official visit to Texas this weekend. Hager will join roughly eight other players as we inch closer to National Signing Day 2015.

Breckyn Hager decided to commit to Texas on September 24, 2014. It was a long time dream of Hager to play for the Longhorns. Hager checks in at 6-foot-4, 220-pounds from Austin (TX) Westlake.

"Well to be a part of the University of Texas and this football program is the biggest honor in the world," Hager said. "I believe this because not only do I get to wake up everyday representing my hometown, but I get to work with some of the best coaches in the nation. Charlie Strong's first recruiting class is very special, and I can't wait for the legacy to start."

Hager simply cannot wait until he gets his football career started, but for now he will concentrate on training and throwing the discuss.

Hager held offers from Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma and San Diego State to name a few. Take:

Breckyn Hager is long and lean, and more than likely will transition to the defensive end position at the next level. He is a very sold linebacker that more than likely grows out of that position. Hager has good work ethic and drive and knows how to get after it in the film and weight room.
