DeAndre Baker Player Preview

Cornerback DeAndre Baker is committed to the University of Georgia for the time being. The Florida native checks in at 6-foot, 180-pounds from Miami (Fla) Northwestern. Baker was selected to play in the 2015 U.S. All-American Bowl.

Baker is one of the most underrated players in the state of Florida and southeast for 2015. He has offers from Georgia, Alabama and Texas to name a few. He is not a kid who looks or seeks out the spotlight and media attention. Baker is very gifted in the classroom and has a high football I.Q. There's a lot to like regarding Baker. He has above average height and long arms. He shows good speed and the ability to turn and run with wide receivers. Baker is a physical kid, whether it's in press coverage at the line of scrimmage, making a tackle in the open field or going up for a play on the ball. He does everything well.
