Jeremy Smith Impressed with Charlie Strong

Jeremy Smith checks in at 6-foot-3, 180-pounds from Missouri City (TX) Marshall. The three-star wide receiver has a high interest in the Texas Longhorns.

Jeremy Smith is a big supporter of the Texas Longhorns. He has attended camps in Austin since his 9th grade season.

"Its a wonderful experience," Smith said. "I am happy to have the opportunity of possibly playing on the next level. The only junior day I have attended was Baylor but I attended the Under the Lights camp and the Arkansas camp last summer."

Smith is concentrating on helping his basketball team win but believes he has two junior days he will attend moving forward.

"I'm playing basketball, and I'm trying to help my team get to the playoffs," Smith said. "I'm pretty sure I'll be attending Texas and Texas A&M next junior day"

Smith has always been a Texas fan and likes what he knows about Charlie Strong.

"I'm a huge Longhorns fan," Smith said. "I'm glad that I'm starting to see the program moving in the right direction. Coach Strong is doing a great job with his players as far as putting them in the best situation, and I hope they continue to improve and become better every year."

Smith is an all around athlete. He plays quarterback, wide receiver and has been very successful at both spots. He is a tireless worker and a player I will keep an eye on over the summer.
