Kofi Boateng checks in from Arlington (Texas) Lamar. He holds offers from Boston College, Northwestern, Texas Tech and Minnesota to name a few. Boateng is looking to improve on his junior production of 66 receptions, over 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns. Alabama, Ohio State and Texas have all shown interest.
”The process has been amazing for me and my family,” Boateng said. “We love hearing from the coaches and visiting the campuses. With Jr. days I'll be going to Oklahoma this weekend and I don’t know about next week but the week after that I'll be deciding between a Bama Jr. day and a Texas Jr. day but will most likely attend the Texas Jr. day.”
Boateng has noticed change for the better with the Texas program.
”With the Texas staff I think the change has been good because you can see the coaches care and the kids have bought in to what the coaches say as you can see with the impressive class they signed in 15,” Boateng said.
Boateng plays bigger than his 170-pound frame would indicate. He has good body control, agility and goes up and gets the football.
