Jordan Elliott One of the Best in 2016

Baylor received a big commitment from defensive tackle Jordan Elliott January 31, 2015. The four-star 6-foot-5, 290-pound standout is the No 20 ranked defensive tackle in the class of 2016 and No 224 overall regardless of position.

Jordan Elliott checks in from Houston (Texas) Westside. He has offers from Baylor, Alabama, California, Colorado State, Houston, Kansas and Texas to name a few.

"It's been a blessing," Elliott said. "A real blessing for my family is the most excited this type of situation is new to all of us, so we take it a day at a time. I have visited Texas for a game and a few Houston games."

Where will the talented Junior visit over the next few weeks?

"I am going to the junior day for A&M on March 6th but will not be able to make it to Texas this weekend, but I will be in Austin soon," Elliott said. "The Texas staff, when I first went there during the season wasn't very good. I drove to Austin with my family and did not have a good experience but maybe my perception will change."

What kind of player is Jordan Elliott?

"I'm an explosive force with finesse, a very nimble giant," Elliott said.
