Catching up with Shawn Robinson

College head coaches and recruiting fans across the country have taken notice of 2017 standout quarterback Shawn Robinson. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound standout checks in from Denton (TX) Guyer high school. Robinson has already been elevated to five-star status.

Shawn Robinson is one of the top high school quarterbacks in America regardless of class. The 2017 superstar is one of the few five star players in 2017 at this time.

”I don’t have a top 10 or five at the moment,” Robinson said. “I haven’t really gotten out and seen a lot of colleges yet. I’d have to say everyone is on the same level right now.”

Robinson will be one of the most heavily recruited players in America over the next two recruiting seasons.

”I’ve been to TCU’s junior day and been to Baylor and Texas camps last year,” Robinson said. “I’ve been to a TCU game. I plan to visit numerous colleges this summer. I am getting a calendar together of all my dates but its not quite done yet.”

Robinson has all the tools you look for in a quarterback but is always working to improve his game.

”I would like to improve on everything but what I will emphasize is just getting more knowledge, accuracy, getting stronger and faster and becoming more vocal,” Robinson said.

TCU for sure and probably Oklahoma or Texas are the teams showing the most interest at this time.

”I haven’t spoken to Coach [Shawn] Watson in a while but if I talk to any coaches from Texas, it would be Watson,” Robinson said.
