Mark Jackson Quick Hitter

Mark Jackson is a four-star defensive end prospect with six offers to date. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound edge rusher checks in from Cibolo (Texas) Steele. Look for Jacksons offer list to double before the season starts.

Even though, it's early in the recruiting process, Jackson has a few schools starting to stand out from the rest of the field.

"Texas, Oklahoma, TCU, Baylor, Texas A&M and UCLA," Jackson said.

Jackson has great upside from the speed rushing end position. He has already visited a few big time programs.

"Texas, Alabama and Baylor," Jackson said. He will try and visit TCU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and UCLA in the coming months.

Jackson is working on all aspects of his game, but in particular perfecting better technique stopping the run and pass rushing. Texas and Oklahoma are showing Jackson and his family the most love. Jackson speaks with Texas defensive coordinator Vance Bedford every other week.

"Every other week and usually coach Bedford," Jackson said. "I am starting to talk to coach [Charlie] Strong and [Brick] Haley more often."
