Four-Star RB High on Texas

Running back Trayveon Williams is one of the most heavily recruited players in the state of Texas. The four-star running back has 30-plus offers but has cut his list to a top ten.

Trayveon Williams is the No 3 ranked running back prospect in the state of Texas. The 5-foot-9, 180-pound standout has narrowed his list to a top ten of Arizona State, Houston, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech.

The Houston (Texas) C.E. King star holds Texas head coach Charlie Strong in high regards.

”First of all I just want to give major ups to Coach Strong and the way he runs his program,” Williams said. “He truly believes in a student first atmosphere and deeply enforces it. Also, the discipline is outstanding. His players buy into what he brings and Texas is definitely a standout out school for me. If I were to produce a top five right now no doubt Texas would be in it.”

What does Williams bring to the table as a player?

”I feel my strengths of my game are my vision, quickness, speed and h ands but also experience,” Williams said. “I can see a play develop before it even happens. What makes me a dynamic player above all else is my motor, my motor never stops as the drive goes on and the games goes on I get stronger and stronger.”
