”I love what Charlie Strong is doing with the Texas program,” Pettigrew said. “He's definitely leading them to a national championship in the near future. He's a great coach and the players are buying into his system more and more as the days pass.”

”The recruiting process has been great,” Pettigrew said. “Just trying to find the perfect school for me. I only get to do this once, so it's key I make the right decision. I don't plan to do many school camps as of now. I will be at the rivals 5-star challenge also the seven on seven nationals in Florida.”

Why is he one of the most heavily recruited players in America?

”The strengths of my game are definitely me being able to do everything,” Pettigrew said. “I can split out, get down and traditional and get at H-Back and still be a threat to the defense.”
