Shemar Smith Setting up Visits

One of the most heavily talked about recruits over the last few weeks checks in from Miami (Fla) Miami Jackson H.S. The 6-foot-2 ½, 216-pound defensive end/outside linebacker recently landed his biggest offer to date, the University of Texas.

”I fit well in a Charlie Strong defensive scheme but I also have to be comfortable where I’m at,” Shemar Smith said.

Smith will schedule trips to Texas, Louisville, Kentucky and many more moving forward.

”The recruiting process has been great since I picked up my first offer from Temple,” Smith said. “I like to rush off the edge, I can move in space and I play with aggression.”

Smith holds offers from Appalachian State, Bowling Green, Florida Atlantic, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Oregon State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Temple, Texas and Toledo.
