Caleb Roddy Will OV to Texas

Three-star defensive end from Denham Springs (LA) will take an official visit to the University of Texas. Denham Springs H.S. standout Caleb Roddy checks in at 6-foot-5, 250-pounds.

Caleb Roddy holds offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Missouri, North Carolina, Oregon and Texas to name a few. Roddy continues to remain grounded and taking things in stride.

”The recruiting process has been very hectic,” Roddy said. “I've been blowing up in the past months. I'm going to an LSU camp June 8th, and I'm taking officials to Texas and Auburn.”

Defensive line coach Brick Haley is recruiting Roddy. The defensive line star has yet to meet coach Strong in person but he likes what he hears.

”I really like coach Strong,” Roddy said. “We've talked a few times on the phone and he seems like a great guy and coach. He'd definitely be someone I could see myself playing for. I'm looking forward to meeting him.”
