Brock Wright Will Visit Texas

Potential top 100 and current Scout four-star tight end prospect Brock Wright is looking forward to visiting Texas. The 6-foot-5, 240-pound Wright could fight for the top TE honors in the class of 2017.

Brock Wright checks in from Cypress (Texas) Cy-Fair H.S. He holds offers from Baylor, Boston College, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Texas to name a few. The top teams in America will fight it out for the services of Brock Wright.

”The recruiting process has been great,” Wright said. “It’s been very cool to see all of these schools and what each one has to offer. This summer I am taking unofficial visits to Stanford, Texas, and Michigan and am attending Notre Dame's Irish Invasion camp.”

Why are some of the top teams in the country coming after Wright?

”One of my best strengths is being able to block well as a down lineman,” Wright said. “I think that is what primarily peaked the interest of the colleges I have spoken with. But I am also able to use my speed and route running ability to get open and catch the ball.”

Texas has made Wright a priority and the potential top 100 prospect has taken notice.

”Texas is a wonderful program and I am looking forward to visiting soon,” Wright said. “The coaches I have spoken with, including coach [Chris] Vaughn and coach [Jeff] Traylor, have been outstanding so far, and very proactive in their recruiting.”
