Brandon Stephens On the Longhorns and More

Brandon Stephens checks in from Plano (Texas) Plano Senior H.S. The 6-foot, 200-pound Stephens has over a dozen offers from Ohio State, Stanford, Wisconsin and Iowa to name a few.

”The process has been fun,” Brandon Stephens said. “I'm enjoying getting to know these coaches as well as the coaching staff. At the same time, it is a little stressful.”

Stephens is in the process of setting up visits.

”I haven't made any arrangements as far as visits, but I will be scheduling in a couple of days,” Stephens said.

Why does Stephens hold over a dozen offers around the country?

”My greatest strengths is my physicalness and my vision,” Stephens said. “Many backs don't have the vision it takes to see the right whole, so I'm blessed with that as well as my patience in the backfield.”

Stephens has been pretty quiet as of late but holds the Texas program in high regard.

”Texas program as a whole is amazing,” Stephens said. “The tradition, as well as the sense of family, amazes me. Coach [Charlie] Strong is a cool guy; I was just talking to him about those Tigers in his office! He knows when to have some fun and knows when it's all about business.”

Bio Blast:
