All About the Benjamin

Standout running back Eno Benjamin recently made an unofficial visit to check out the Texas Longhorns. The 5-foot-10, 194-pound Benjamin has early offers from Duke, Houston, Iowa, Kansas, Miami, Nevada, San Diego State, SMU, Texas Tech and Tulane.

Eno Benjamin checks in from Wylie (Texas) Wylie East. Benjamin talked about his most recent unofficial visit to check out Charlie Strong and the Longhorns.

”I think Texas is a great place and just needs some players to start building something special,” Benjamin said. “I think they are on their way with their signees this year and Coach Strong is serious about turning the program around. Started off with releasing some players and that’s a great way to get your point across.”

As a sophomore Benjamin rushed 269 times for over 1,700 yards and 25 touchdowns. In addition to that, he caught five passes for 95 yards and one touchdown.

”The facilities are very nice and the weight room is very big and the city is popping,” Benjamin said.

Benjamin talks about his craft and what he brings to the table at the running back position.

”I love running between the tackles and I have the ability to lower my shoulder or run by you as well as my vision,” Benjamin said.

What was the best part of the trip?

”I think the campus tour,” Benjamin said. “I enjoyed that.”
