Longhorns offer Las Vegas SF Charles O'Bannon

Shaka Smart and the Longhorns offered the No. 54 player in the Class of 2017 on Monday.

Shaka Smart and his entire coaching staff were in Las Vegas over the weekend scouting recruits.

While there they decided to offer one of Vegas' best prospects in four-star 2017 small forward Charles O'Bannon Jr. (Las Vegas/Bishop Gorman).

If the name sounds familiar, it should: O'Bannon is the son of collegiate basketball great Charles O'Bannon and the nephew of Ed O'Bannon, who won a national title at UCLA in 1995.

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound O'Bannon is the top-ranked SF not only in Nevada, but on the west coast in 2017.
