Brock Wright checks in at 6-foot-5, 240-pounds. The No 62 ranked overall player and No 1 ranked tight end is the complete package.
”I play with a very aggressive mindset that helps with my physical blocking and receiving,” Wright said. “I would like to work more on improving my route running. I couldn’t be more excited for this coming season. My goal for us this year is to compete as hard as possible as a team. I think that’s a very achievable goal.”
The Wright family is excited for the college football season for a variety of reasons but one in particular.
”The start of the college football season means that I'll get to enjoy watching my brother play for Rice and I'll try to make as many games of his as possible,” Wright said. “I'll also be watching all of Notre Dame's games and am looking forward that. All my family does on the weekends besides eating and going to church is watch football, so we are always ready for the season to start.”Scout.com Take:
He has plus size so the first thing you want to see out of a TE prospect like Wright is his ability to block. And he is definitely an above average blocker. But that being said you fall in love with what Wright is able to do as a pass catcher. He runs the field will and has strong, soft hands. He possesses all of the tools you are looking for in a top tight end prospect. And as a result he has some of the top TE producing schools offering. – G. Powers.Inside the Numbers:
