Collin Johnson Eager to get to Austin

We've got an update on Longhorns 2016 four-star wide receiver commitment Collin Johnson. When is he going to be down in Austin next? Will he enroll early?

Four-star wide receiver commit Collin Johnson (San Jose, CA/ Valley Christian Schools), the No. 15 WR in the country, is eager to get down to the Forty Acres.

He's so excited that he's doing what he can to ensure that he's in Austin as early as possible to start his career as a Longhorn. Johnson still plans to enroll early at Texas. The standout receiver will graduate high school a semester early so he can head down to Austin in spring of 2016.

The 6-foot-4 195-pound receiver committed to Texas back in April of 2014. He turned down offers from Alabama, Michigan, and TCU to name a few.

To be truthful, the other schools really didn't have that much of a chance as Johnson's father, Johnnie Johnson, was a standout DB for the Longhorns and his brother, Kirk Johnson, is a freshman on the team right now.

As a top wide out from California, it is only right that Johnson plans to visit for the Cal-Texas game in September. He will also visit for the Rice game, Texas’ first home game of the season.
