Four-Star Offensive Tackle Walker Little Recaps his Texas Visit

The Texas Longhorns suffered a heartbreaking loss last night in dramatic fashion.  On hand were some of the top recruits in the country for 2016 and 2017.  Walker Little checks in at 6-foot-7, 305-pounds out of Bellaire (Texas) Episcopal H.S.

Walker Little is a four-star offensive tackle in the class of 2017.  He checks in as the No 1 ranked offensive tackle in Texas, the No 1 ranked in the Midland region, No 10 in the country and No 65 ranked overall recruit in America regardless of position.  He made the trip to Austin with his father as Texas hosted California.  It was his fathers first trip to Texas.

“It was a great visit,” Little said.  “I got a chance to talk with a lot of the coaches.  Talked for a period of time with both Coach [Charlie] Strong and Coach [Joe] Wickline.  A lot more excitement than last year.  I was most impressed by the attention I got from all the coaches.  Texas has been really impressive for me.  He (dad) liked it and loved getting to talk with Coach Strong on the field.  I feel my relationship with Coach Strong improved.”

Little is one of the most heavily recruited players in the country regardless of class.  He holds verbal offers form Alabama, Baylor, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Stanford, TCU and Texas to name a few.  He has no future visit plans at this time.
