Tuesday Practice Notes: Health Concerns

Here is everything you need to know about the Longhorns practice on Tuesday.

This is what I'm hearing from a couple of sources about Tuesday's practice:

Update: I'm told Chris Warren did practice today.

DeShon Elliott  was out there today. He was dressed in shorts and his jersey but didn't have pads. The rest of the team was in full pads. I'm told all he did today was stretch with the team but he did not participate further. Still a good sign to know that he is out there with the team. Baby steps...

Marcus Johnson practiced in full pads today. But he did that last week as well. However, I'm told he did twist his right ankle - the same ankle he had previously injured - running a route today so we will have to keep our eye on that as the week progresses. I'm told he is likely to play this week though, which is obviously good news for the offense.

Jason Hall practiced in full pads today.

I have received a few questions regarding Malik Jefferson's ankle, which he tweaked on Saturday. What I'm told is that he is fine and practiced today at full strength. He's fine.

Appears DeAndre McNeal is a bit banged up but is ultimately going to be OK.

Interesting note here - Apparently Jermaine Roberts and Sheroid Evans both wore jerseys today for the first time. They normally just wear workout shirts. Not entirely sure what this indicates, but sources say both are progressing well - even ahead of schedule, per one source.

No changes across the offensive line... A bit surprised that there haven't at least been some looks for Marcus HutchinsJake RaulersonAlex Anderson or even Elijah Rodriguez, who I hear Joe Wickline actually is fairly high on all things considered.

Brandon Hodges, who worked with the second team all week last week, was not on second team Tuesday. Alex Anderson was.

Holton Hill worked with the 1s at times today. The other CB1 was Antwuan Davis. Hill also picked off a pass from Jerrod Heard.
