Four-Star J.K. Dobbins has embraced the recruiting process

One of the top playmakers in the country for 2017 is athlete J.K. Dobbins.  The four-star standout checks in from La Grange (Texas) at 5-foot-9, 185-pounds.

J.K. Dobbins holds offers from Texas, Oklahoma, TCU and Texas A&M to name a few.  Dobbins like many other top recruits welcomes the recruiting process but also understands how time consuming it can become.

“It’s surreal,” Dobbins said.  “It’s like a dream come true but its also kind of frustrating if you get a bunch of people from the media calling you all at once. It’s all kind of hard to decide when you have a bunch of great schools that really want you.”

What factors will Dobbins use to make his decision?

“I think its important to have a great relationship with the head coach because he will be your coach for four years,” Dobbins said.  “I’m looking for a coach that can help me fulfill my dreams and also make me a better man overall.”

Dobbins has thought about the possibility of playing in the new look Texas offense.

“It would be pretty exciting,” Dobbins said.  He feels he is best suited for the running back position.
