Longhorns freshman Kerwin Roach can jump higher than you

Longhorns freshman guard Kerwin Roach came to Texas with a reputation for being able to jump out of the gym.

We just didn't realize that he could literally jump out of a gym.

OK, so he didn't literally, literally jump out of Cooley Pavilion - Texas' practice facility - but he got higher than most people could. Here is video proof of the 6-foot-3 four-star from Galena Park (Texas) North Shore.

Roach is one of three freshmen expected to make an impact for the Longhorns this season along with Eric Davis and Tevin Mack.

Texas begins the season with an exhibition against Tarelton State on Nov. 6 in Austin. Shaka Smart's first real game as UT's head coach will take place in Shanghai, China against Washington on Nov. 13.
