Jordan Elliott is one of the most wanted defensive tackles in America. With offers from Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, USC, Alabama and Houston he is wanted by many programs across the country.
Jordan Elliott has a great relationship with Charlie Strong and the rest of the defensive coaching staff including defensive coordinator Vance Bedford and defensive line coach Brick Haley. Jordan Elliott will take some trips but his actions have the Longhorn staff feeling they have the inside track.
Inside the Numbers
Scout Rank No 102
Position Rank No 13
Midland DT Rank No 3
Texas DT Rank No 3
Athletic enough to play defensive end and powerful enough to play inside and take on the double team as a defensive tackle. Very quick off the ball, and you often forget that he is a legit 300-pounder moving around the way he is. Very smooth and plays with a low center of gravity making it tough for offensive linemen to out position him. Could be scheme versatile in college and play in many defenses, and that is why offers poured in for him. – GP
