Three-Star OT Denzel Okafor is set to visit the Texas Longhorns as they host Kansas State

Charlie Strong and the rest of the Texas coaching staff are in need of a few good men on the offensive line. Denzel Okafor is a 6-foot-4, 290-pound three-star offensive tackle from Lewisville (Texas) He holds offers from TCU, Texas, Oklahoma State and Arkansas to name a few.

Weather permitting, Denzel Okafor is scheduled to visit the Texas Longhorns this weekend as Charlie Strong and staff host Kansas State.

My Take

Texas has some ground to make up on TCU and this weekend will go a long way in determining if they can land Okafor.  He has good relations with current players and is building strong bonds with Charlie Strong and the coaching staff.  Things have heated up between both parties recently but will they continue?

Scout.com Take

Okafor has a wide array of skills as a lineman and should provide some roster versatility for his college as he could honestly play tackle or guard on the next level. He has good length for his height/weight ratio, but also looks to be able to add the size to take on the bigger interior players if needed. He moves well in the open field and can get to those blocks on the second level. Shows great leadership up front and is a team captain.
