Michigan verbal commitment David Reese talks about his relationships with the Texas coaching staff

Michigan verbal commitment David Reese is keeping his options open. One of those options includes the Texas Longhorns.

David Reese checks in at 6-foot-1, 235-pounds from Farmington (MI) and will visit Texas in the coming weeks.  The three-star inside linebacker holds offers from Michigan, Indiana, Louisville, Pittsburgh and the Texas Longhorns to name a few.

Reese talked about his game and adjusting to football at the next level.

“I feel that I'm a down hill psychical football player that can play in space or come of the edge,” David Reese said.  “I feel the biggest adjustment will be just getting adjusted to the game speed and learning a new system as fast as possible.”

What kind of pros and cons was the recruiting process for Reese and his family?

“Really thought my process was full of pros,” Reese said.  “I’m blessed to have this opportunity to play at the next level.”

In my experience recruiting really and truly only comes down to one thing, relationships between player/family and coaching staff.

“I have a great relationship with coach [Vance] Bedford, Coach [Brian Jean-Mary] BJ and the entire staff we have been in constant communication,” Reese said.
