Shane Buechele checks in from Arlington (Texas) Lamar. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound signal caller will make his official visit to Texas this upcoming weekend.
Buechele is scheduled to host head coach Charlie Strong and quarterback coach Shawn Watson during his in-home visit on Wednesday. Texas Longhorns recruits and commitments are eagerly anticipating any and all staff changes set to occur, and Buechele is no different. As far as how those changes might impact him time will tell. He loves the direction of the program and loves the Texas Longhorns. Whoever the new offensive coordinator ends up being his primary focus will be making sure he sells himself to Shane Buechele.

Buechele is one of those players who just seems to have the it factor. Seems to sense and feel when he is in trouble in the pocket and can escape it and find a way to make a play, whether it is with his arm or his legs. He throws an accurate and catchable ball and seems to always find a way to place it in just where he needs to, even though at times he does it with unorthodox mechanics or methods. He makes quick decisions. – Greg Powers.
