A four-star offensive tackle formerly committed to Oklahoma, Jean Delance, (6-5, 275) of North Mesquite, is one of the most heavily recruited linemen in the country. Delance holds offers from LSU, Michigan, Alabama, Baylor, Florida and Florida State to name a few.
When he announced during halftime of the Under Armour All-America game earlier this month, Delance's final three were Texas, Michigan and LSU.
Scout.com Take From Greg Powers
Delance is a true offensive tackle prospect who can project out as a left tackle or a 'blind side' tackle. He moves well and is light on his feet in pass protection and shows aggression as a run blocker. He finishes to the whistle and secures blocks down the field of the second and third levels. He has a long and lean frame and looks light for a 280-pounder. He will be able to add good muscle and weight as he matures giving him high upside.
