The Longhorns just went into Morgantown and defeated the No. 6/7 Mountaineers, 56-49

The Longhorns will next travel to Kansas to take on the Jayhawks on Saturday.

The Longhorns just got out-rebounded 49-33, watched Isaiah Taylor go 0-for-8 from the floor and had Cameron Ridley sitting on the bench.

But somehow Shaka Smart was still able to keep his players focused enough to upset No. 6 West Virginia 56-49.

Javan Felix led all scorers with 17 points and the Longhorns only committed eigth turnovers, while forcing 11, to improve to 12-6 overall and 4-2 in the Big 12.

Texas has now beaten then-No. 17 Iowa State, an Oklahoma State team that knocked off Kansas on Tuesday and the No. 6 Mountaineers in a row.

All 10 of the UT players that played, scored, including 7 clutch points from Kendal Yancy.

The Horns were far from great from the charity stripe, but their 18-of-30 was much better than WVU's 8-of-23.
