Evaluation

May be best rated as an athlete, but you don't often see players in the mold of Humphrey who can play running back and still not look too big to do it at 6'4-6'5. It speaks of his athleticism overall that he is able to run with a consistently low pad level and cut and dash the way he does in the open field. He put up big numbers against some serious competition in the Dallas-metro. He could end up at a number of spots once he gets to college. -GP

Bio

CAREER: Playing for one of Texas' most storied high school programs (Southlake Carroll), Humphrey accounted for 4,967 yards from scrimmage and 57 touchdowns.

Humphrey ran for 3,736 yards and 46 scores, while catching 91 passes for 1,231 yards and 11 touchdowns.


2015: Humphrey capped a strong career with a senior season that saw him rush for 1,292 yards and 14 touchdowns, while catching 57 passes for 876 yards and eight scores. He gained 2,168 yards from scrimmage and scored 22 touchdowns.


2014: As a junior, Humphrey ran for a career-high 1,817 yards and 29 touchdowns. He also caught 26 passes for 283 yards and three scores, giving him 2,100 yards from scrimmage and 32 touchdowns.


2013: Humphrey made his varsity debut and ran for 627 yards and three touchdowns, in addition to eight catches for 72 yards to give him 699 yards from scrimmage.
