Taquon Graham is one to w atch for Longhorn fans

Head coach Charlie Strong and the rest of the Texas Longhorn coaching staff are ready for the seasons first junior day. Weak side defensive end will be a need position for the class of 2017. One of the top defensive ends in America will visit for junior day.

Taquon Graham checks in at 6-foot-3, 220-pounds, a four-star defensive end from Temple (Texas) Graham holds offers from Baylor, TCU, Texas, Georgia, Nebraska, Arizona State, California and Kansas to name a few.  Early on in the process keep an eye on Baylor, TCU and Texas as the three front runners.

Texas signed wide receiver Davion Curtis in 2016 from Temple.  Having a former teammate play for the Longhorns should help with familiarity for Graham throughout the recruiting process.  I am a big fan of Taquon Graham and what he brings to the table.

Scout.com Take:

Graham is a very hot prospect on the recruiting trail and he has the scholarship offers to prove it. We love his overall athleticism and his ability to close on the football in the open field. He is still raw, but he does have a tremendous upside at the position. He shows good awareness locating the ball and is an excellent pass rusher as a result. He gets off the ball quickly and just makes plays. - Greg Powers
