Mohamed Sanogo Will Visit Texas for Junior Day

Plano (Texas) Plano West Senior is home to one of the top inside linebackers in America. Mohamed Sanogo checks in at 6-foot-2, 230-pounds. The four-star standout will visit Texas for junior day at the end of the month.

Indiana, Michigan, Ohio State, Stanford, TCU, Texas and Baylor are all teams showing Mohamed Sanogo interest.  He has early offers from Indiana and Rice.  Sango has attended camps with Michigan, Ohio State, TCU and Texas Longhorns.  He will return to Austin at the end of the month for the first junior day of the year for the Longhorns.

Anthony Hines and Baron Browning get most of the attention at the linebacker position in-state, but keep an eye on Mohamed Sanogo as his offer list should explode.

Scout.com Take:

A true middle linebacker prospect is rare in today's game and Sanogo is just that. He is a tremendous downhill player who is always tough against the run. He uses his hands extremely well and is able to get off of blocks and keep his radar locked onto the ball carrier. He shows good instincts and reads and diagnoses the play very quickly and should be considered as a smart defender. He is big and strong. A sure tackler. He also covers well as he is used to taking on high profile offenses in college. - Greg Powers
