Johnathan Motley scored 24 points, Lester Medford and Taurean Prince combined for 30 points and Baylor shot 62.7 percent in a 78-64 victory over Texas at the Frank Erwin Center on Saturday.
Texas started the game with three straight turnovers, Baylor out-scored UT 50-32 in the paint and shot 40 percent from beyond the arc to even the season series with UT, which defeated BU 67-59 earlier this season.
Shaquille Cleare scored a career-high 14 points, Eric Davis added 11 points and Isaiah Taylor had 10 points for the Longhorns, which dropped to 17-10 overall and 8-6 in Big 12 play. Baylor improved to 20-7 and 9-5 overall.
The Longhorns will look to rebound from this loss when they travel to Kansas State on Monday for a 6 p.m. tip.
