The Longhorns have extended an offer to three-star defensive tackle Damion Daniels, a teammate of fellow Longhorns offer Chevin Calloway. His offer from Texas on Friday was one of five he picked up on that day. The others included Ole Miss, Angelo State, Michigan and Iowa State. The Longhorns were his first offer of the day. Daniels also has offers from LSU,Oklahoma State, South Carolina, Colorado, Iowa, Rice, SMU, Texas State, and UTSA. If Daniels plays anything like his family, he'll be in great shape. His father is former Texas Tech defensive lineman and All-American Troy Daniels and his brother is Oklahoma State DT Darrion Daniels. Daniels hopes to visit Texas either this spring or summer depending on his father's schedule.
