Mustapha Muhammad Making Spring Plans

One of the most heavily recruited players in the class of 2018 checks in from Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point. The 6-foot-4 ½, 230-pound tight end prospect holds double-digit offers from some of the biggest programs in America.

Baylor, LSU, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M and Alabama are but a few programs to extend a verbal scholarship offer to Mustapha Muhammad.  Spring is in the air, and the talented tight end couldn’t be happier.

“I am excited for spring football and for opportunities to visit some schools for their games/practices,” Muhammad said.  “I am looking forward to seeing contact from schools that have already offered.  I was informed about LSU's spring practices and game and Texas A&M's Friday night lights. I plan to attend both.”

Muhammad welcomes the recruiting process, but remains grounded and will focus on his last two years of high school football.

“I am looking forward to seeing which school I finally choose to attend at the end of my recruitment,” Muhammad said.  “This will be a very tough decision for me that will take time.  I have set goals for myself that I intend on achieving as well as enjoying my high school athletic career as much as I can up until that point.”

Muhammad has not had contact with the new offensive staff yet but looks forward to meeting coach Strong in the near future.
